The legend returns to the places of wine
According to the story, the servant Martino travelled ahead of Johannes Defuk and marked the inns where he found good wine with the Latin word “Est”. In Montefiascone, his enthusiasm led him to repeat the sign three times: Est! Est!! Est!!!
The format
A travelling story, not a single event
The format returns seven times during the Fair. Each encounter connects wine, local memory and the people who work in the area’s cellars. It is inspired by the legend while focusing on contemporary producers and places.
2026 dates
Seven evenings at 9:00 pm
The announced dates are 1, 2, 7, 8, 11, 12 and 13 August. The available programme does not yet name a cellar or meeting point for every date, so check the daily programme and official updates before attending.
What to expect
Wine, tradition and territory
