Getting to Montefiascone and where to stay

The historic centre is the heart of the Fair. Plan your journey in advance, check the final connection and allow time to walk between venues.

By car

From Rome, Viterbo and Orvieto

From Rome, travel north via the A1 or follow the Via Cassia towards Viterbo. From Viterbo, Montefiascone is reached via the SS2 Cassia. From Orvieto, the route crosses the Alta Tuscia area; check live traffic and road conditions before leaving.

By train

Montefiascone–Zepponami station

The station lies on the Viterbo–Attigliano–Orte line and is outside the historic centre. Check timetables, connections and the final part of the journey before departure, especially if returning after an evening event.

During the Fair

Venues and local movement

Events take place across Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, Piazza Piave, Piazzale Roma, Piazzale Mauri and the Rocca dei Papi. Official parking or shuttle arrangements have not yet been published in the materials available to this site.

Book early for August
